Thomas the Tank Engine
As this is mid-term break, we have planned a few fun things. Did you know that there really is a REAL Thomas the Tank Engine? We took a short (12 minute round-trip) Thomas the Tank Engine ride with some friends.
As you can imagine, Andrew and his little friend were beside themselves to actually meet Thomas.
Here is Andrew so happy to be near the trains, this is an antique one from Poland.
We ended the day with 11 children over to play!

Hi guys- we wish we could have gone on the train ride with you! We are enjoying the last few days of fall before winter hits by playing in the leaves and mulching the garden. We love you and miss you, Auntie M & family.
11 kids over? Looks like situation NORMAL for the Johnstons' house!! Your hospitality doesn't quit just because your home shrunk. :) I missed you the other day when I thought I might have to take James in for an ER visit for a jammed thumb, and realized you were the only person I'd consider dumping all my other children on for an indefinite period of time without thinking twice about asking! Thankfully we didn't have to, but I felt your absence again. I love the photos...I wish I could have a window into all my friends' lives as you have given us! It makes you feel not so far away. We hold you close in our hearts!
Love, nancy
