Good Books

There are a lot of missionary biographies out there to read to children~here is one of my favorites:

A set of 5 is available for boys or girls~the rest in the series we have include:

Ten Girls who used their Talents
Ten Girls who didn't Give In
Ten Girls who made History
Ten Girls who made a Difference

My kids like this series. We have read missionary stories almost every night for over 10 years! We just finished tonights reading-God's Tribesman-The Rochunga Pudaite Story. We also enjoy The Jaffray Collection of Missionary Portraits. Two of our favorites are Vanya and God Knows My Size. On an older level Imprisoned in Iran, Silent Tears, Where Invisible Children Sing, and Evidence Not Seen.....I could go on.....Jama Raubach and I so enjoy sharing favorite books!
I have never blogged in my life -I have been wanting to set this up when we went to Russia last but didnt have time. Many of my adoptive friends blog and I wanted to post on yours so I took the plunge!

We're so excited to see the Lord's plans continue to unfold, and especially grateful that they will include your family with us at TBC!

What a blessing that the Lord has led you to join us at TBC! We have been here for 28 years among a wonderful church body, in a great city to raise a family.
I enjoyed reading more of your blog and loved the lake plunge! Also, my aunt and uncle (Dahlquist)lived in Windsor Park Manor until they went to heaven.
We are praying daily that God will perfectly orchestrate before you your journey here. Romans 15:13
