This is Science Week here in Cambridge. The University's science faculties sponsor special exhibits for children and we were able to go to the Queen's Veterinarian School Hospital to see how animals are helped when they have special medical problems.
There were many hands on exhibits that showed normal animals having surgery~
A few exotic animals as well~!
Lots of skeletons~
And many veterinarians! The highlight was of course getting the "Doctor kits" to play with~
Those sisters of mine are crazy!
The school was PACKED! We were all actually glad to leave, because we could barely move through most of the exhibits, and the queues were very long.
I don't think we have any budding Veterinarians among our children, we were all a bit squeamish with the surgery pictures! Except for Andrew, who asked the nurse lots of questions and wanted to know everything that was happening to the animal. Hmm...

Thanks again for taking R. You guys are such a blessing to us! Now, I need to get out of bed and get dressed and be a proper homeschool mum, not a lazy, flit-to-London one.
How are you, dear friend? I'm actually HOME today! If you have the time, you can call to tell me about the meeting or just to chat. Tomorrow, I think we head to Greenwich, then Friday is church.
