Christmas decorating
Well, we didn't bring any Christmas decorations with us to Tyndale House, so we decided we must make our own! Here Claire and Sarah have started a paper chain by coloring white paper strips and making their own construction paper. They are doing a little bit each day, which astounds me, but they are enjoying themselves! We are looking forward to stringing popcorn and making our own ornaments~any ideas? We would love some suggestions!

Cool ideas, girls!
I just read in Family Fun magazine that it's easier to string mini-marshmallows and cranberries with a needle than popcorn. You can go onto www.FamilyFun.com
Love, Nancy
How about paper lanterns?

When we didn't have ornaments as MKs in Malaysia, we cut apart egg carton shells and turned each section into bells - painted them or covered them in aluminum foil :)

Only once have I made homemade ornaments. Make a paste with lots of cinnamon and a little applesauce. Roll it out like cookie dough and cut with Christmas cookie cutters. Add a hole at the top for string, then let them dry. They look cute and smell good for a year or so.
Love your blog by the way!
