We had two little friends of Claire's from school (and a mum) over today. We raced to the park (after a slow start) and by 4:30 it was already almost dark. We played until it was getting too dark to see and then came back to Tyndale House where the children played in an even larger group, 'tag' until it was time for dinner. They were a little bedraggled, but they had a great time together. Jim made his famous 'Crepes' and we enjoyed making some better friends.
Although we are in a great community here at Tyndale House, it is also predominantly American. A good friend here calls it the "colony." We realize that we really have to make an effort to get to know 'the locals'~so we are thankful for how open many people have been to spend time with us and our children.
